The Clash - Lost In The Supermarket

The Clash' 1979 album London Calling changed the way I listened to music forever. I was 13 at the time, an age where things made big impressions, and the versatility of that album was something that blew me away. The band that used to be punk rockers had turned into an outfit that played rockabilly, jazz, ska and more, always with amazing pop melodies. London Calling's 19 songs are as diverse as they are good. It's an album that screams "Anything goes!" "Lost In The Supermarket" is one of the lighter songs, a pretty pop song that sounds as good now as it did then. And just so I've said it: London Calling is my all time favourite album. To me, no other record is remotely close.
